Backlog Scanning

Hugh Symons has the resources to manage projects of all sizes providing an end to end solution from collection to final secure authorized destruction of the original documents (where required) and return of media in a file format to suit the client.

Our mean scanning capacity is approximately one million images per day, but with extensive experience of handling high volume projects we have the flexibility to scale up production substantially in order to meet the demands of specific contracts.

Scan-on-Demand

Scan on demand allows organizations to prioritize the documents for scanning, for example when backlog scanning would not be the most cost effective solution due to the low frequency of access to the documents.

Scan-on demand is one of the most favoured solutions for retrieving information from microfilm or microfiche, for which we provide a fully managed service.

We are able to offer advice on the best way to undertake scan-on-demand, including the quickest and most secure methodology for returning information.

Day Forward Scanning

Once back log archives have been digitized, if documents continue to be created in hard copy, there will be the need to consider a method for scanning information in order to avoid creating a new hard copy archive. There are numerous options for day-forward scanning and we can advise on the best approach for individual organizations.
