Other Systems
The NHS in England has been split into various clusters and Local Services Providers have been appointed to each regional cluster. Local Service Providers (LSPs) are responsible for delivering services at a local level and supporting local organisations in delivering the benefits from these. They ensure the integration of existing local systems and, where necessary, implement new systems to ensure that the national applications can be delivered locally, while maintaining common standards.

Accenture has relinquished the responsibility for the Eastern and North Eastern Clusters but will still retain responsibility for the Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS) in these areas.
Whilst LSPs will responsible for providing systems guidance to NHS Trusts, the vital task of back scanning data for import into the chosen system will need to be undertaken by an organization with the experience and credentials to work in partnership with the chosen systems supplier.
