About Us

Hugh Symons NHS Document Scanning Services is division of Division of Hugh Symons Information Management (HSIM).

• HSIM was established in 1974, originally supplying micrographic services to the south of England.  It is now grown to become one of the leading document scanning and archiving companies in the UK.

• NHS documentation now accounts for approximately 40% of the images we process, with HS NHS Document Scanning Services providing the specialist advice and service for the health sector..

• In addition to our head office complex in Poole, Dorset, we also operate from three regional Records Management Centres.  We are, therefore, ideally sited geographically to provide a comprehensive range of archiving services throughout the UK and Europe.

• We employee over 150 staff, most of whom are directly involved in document conversion.  Our comprehensive staff training program ensures we provide a high quality service to our clients regardless of the size of project.
